Clean and Simple

Things have been so busy lately with the business

(which is totally great !!) 

BUT, it left creating on my own time with 

no real agenda virtually impossible - Yuck. 

So, with a renewed sense of 'remembering why 

I started to begin with' - I've decided to give myself 

a little time each week to just let my creativity take 

itself where ever it feels. (often times straight to my 

glitter stash!) 

This time around I was SUPER inspired by this weeks 

clean and simple challenge over on the Clean & Simple 

Blog.... You can check them out - HERE 

Here was the 'sketch' for this week --

with this brilliant sketch in mind.

It's a Challenge! A *sweet* one!

After lots of requesting and getting a very 

amazing volunteer to run it (our very own 

amazing designer Kelly!) - we're doing a weekly 

Flickr challenge! Hip Hip Hooray! 

This week we're doing a 'Paper Piecing' challenge

and you all know how much I love me some paper 

piecing! (although, 'piecing' is like the hardest word 

for me to spell - I'm always wanting to put the 'e' first!) 

Anywho!

Check out my creations using the FREE digi that 

I illustrated! (this is special b/c it's the first digi I have 

ever released and it's FREE!!)

Here are the cards I whipped up using it! 

I used some Timeless Twine - it went so perfect! 

Looking at it now, I should have colored in the two 

little hearts orange or green or yellow! What was 

I thinking! lol - next time!

I love the spray on this card... awww, I can't get 

enough of my glimmer mists! I use them 

ALL. THE. TIME! 

That lime just looks yummy!

Let's dive straight into my peeks today - maybe 

some of you recognize this set from a Paper Made 

Bakery Kit? I loved this set and couldn't wait to bring 

it to all of you - 

Cherry Blossoms! 

I really like the sentiments in this set... they're 

very universal and can make very general cards!

See, sometimes all you need is a sentiment to 

make a card perfect!! 

I used my Copic Airbrush with a Crafter's Workshop 

template. Loved the background effect I got! 

Simple but, I think, really pretty! 

How excited are you for tomorrow?!?

I'm going to give a way a little secret for any of you 

reading to the end of this hop... tomorrow we're releasing 

something other than stamps -- any guesses?! Excited?!

We are!! 

Jacob and I are headed to the first pre-season 

Charger game this afternoon (my parents bought 

us season tickets for our anniversary!) so, we can't wait! 

We LOVE football! Which reminds me of the fall  - and in 

this heat... I wouldn't mind a bit of fall coming! lol... Nah, it's 

actually been a really cool summer compared to other years... 

we haven't reached the triple digits yet. Hopefully we'll stay 

in the 90's. How's the weather where you are? Are you getting 

excited for fall?! It's around the corner!

Sweet Anniversary and Release Day 3

It's day 3!!

I'm so excited for today - it might be my most favorite 

release this week! I have lots of fun stuff to show you 

so I'll dig right in! 

I love these little characters! 

They're the perfect size for a card 

or a project! 

And, they're so much fun to COLOR!! 

Isn't he just so cute!!?!

Also, the other day when I was checking out 

the clearance rack at Michaels (yeah, I'm there A LOT) 

I saw these on sale for $2.97 -- WOW they were totally trying to get rid 

of them!! So, I bought all they had...lol... Yep, clearly

I'm a craft hoarder too! 

While I was shopping around... I thought... I could make it 

into a haunted house for my little halloween characters... 

And... So... It began... and after a couple sessions in 

my craft room... I came up with... this - 

Complete with Ghosts... 

And bats! 

And -- LIGHTS...

You can see where I hid them... 

And, of course my little characters (with lil buddie!) 

Some coffins and headstones... with bones... 

Even a tree that had lights on it! 

Here it is at night... SCARY! 

These little guys *might* be a sneak peek of a set that's coming 

in September... :)
